In view of the coming valentine's day, here's a take on love
"And now we know the difference between love, and a desire to love. Love, which exists in its perfect form in the relationship between God and man, and a desire to love, evident in most relationships between lovers.
Love is unconditional and all encompassing. If I love you, and I accept all that you are. A desire to love is an attempt to emulate perfect love, by turning a blind eye to flaws and character traits that are in reality unbearable; tolerating them only out of a desire to love the person, unconditionally. If the other party, too, has a desire to love you, the person will have adjustments made to his or her life, and an equilibrium will be forged, and over time perhaps, true love will blossom.
My love is imperfect, and in the absence of perfection, disasters abound."
